Since Research In Motion head office is located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada how come when new BlackBerry's get released the are always 1st released across the United States? I know that they are much bigger market since they are a bigger country, but since the head office for RIM is located in Canada why aren't they released in both countries at the same time?

if it all depends when carriers completes their testing and approve the device to be sold on shelf. It also depends on their marketing, RIM's inventory and if other carriers have exclusivity with RIM.

US don't always get the latest device. For example, Bold 9000, Pearl 9100 and Curve 9300 was released in Canada before AT&T got them.
