I am not interested in receiving an Amazon app, nor any other app. But I get a message twice a day to invite me to download it. Please help!

I have Amazon on two BBerry phones and never get ads. Perhaps if you disable the app under Parental Controls it will stop. Security and Privacy > Parental Controls.

You get a message via email in your hub or a notification in your hub?
Ghost commander can turn off notifications for any android app. If it's the email messages, which I get sometimes but that's mainly for my amazon fire TV, then you can unsuscribe in the email.

Ghost Commander works as described previously and is available in BBW. Dvasive is available through Snap in both free and "Pro" versions.

If I had to guess, I think the OP means that the Amazon App has an update available, but the update won't work. My wife's Z30 has that issue and I can't fix it. We both have the same hardware, the same OS yet her phone constantly wants to update the Amazon App unsuccessfully.

I had that issue when I was using a Z30. I deleted the amazon update apk that was sitting in the android folder and redid the update. Worked after that.
It seems like it downloaded the update apk but didn't install. By deleting it it somehow worked.

This topic was discussed. Best thing. Never activate that app. Log out from amazon.

Did the parental control block for Amazon and actually this helped with battery life. Device not constantly searching for Amazon info!
