    I updated both my Z30s to 10.3.3.1359.
Now they won't backup on Link. At first link didn't even recognize them. Then, after reinstalling Link, restarting everything many times, uninstalling iTunes, the phones showed up on link, but no data. Tried several more times. Some data, but when I hit backup, it said backup failed. Several times.

Then I connected my Classic, which has not been updated yet, and it is currently doing a normal backup.

Now I'm sorry I updated the Z30s. How can I do backups on them going forward? The only one I really have to backup is my daily driver Z30. I backup the SD card separately. I really need the contacts and calendar!!

Look at some backup apps in BBW. I recommend Ultimate Backup.

Yes, I experienced the same thing with my Passport and Passport SE. However, I did not reinstall BB Link. I logged out of Link, then logged back in. Subsequently, I was able to successfully complete the backup.

I'll have to try both things. I would think that when I reinstalled Link that would be like signing in again. Anyway, I hope something works. I love my Zs!!

Unless you completely uninstalled Link before reinstalling, your original settings including your current login will have been retained. Simply reinstalling on top of an existing Link installation does not log you out of your BlackBerry ID.

I uninstalled it first. I had to log in when I reinstalled it.

Guess I'll have to read about it. Is there a BB10 version?

No, you install it on your PC. It is very light-weight.

Sachesi is so SachEasy. LOL. You will have no issues. You can use it for updates too. Not that we will be seeing one for BB10 any time soon

Thanks. I'm checking it out. I never bothered with it before because I always waited for official updates and mainly used native apps. I appreciate your help.

So I'm on Windows 10. I clicked on the Sachesi2.0.3-Windows.7z link. I downloads, but I can't open it. What am I doing wrong?
Will have to get back to it later.

The file is in 7 zip format. Download from here http://www.7-zip.org/

    Then unzip the Sachesi file

I think I finally got it!! I went to Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. Then I could download 7 Zip and install Sachesi. I put an icon on my desktop, and it says it is creating a backup. Hopefully it will work.
I'll see what ends up in the folder I created. So far it is at 0%.

Is anyone familiar with Backup Pro? Is it worth $4.99? If I use it to backup my contacts and calendar to my SD card, can I later restore it on another phone or to my computer? I don't want an app that put my contacts on an Excel sheet.
