I actually had an idea about this grocery shopping yesterday. In a couple of aisles I came across blackberry items (muffins, preserves, the actual fruit) and thought it would be kind of cool to have a photo contest where users would post up pictures of BlackBerry "related" items they came across while out and about.

Saw a jar of Blackberry jam? Post that.
Street sign for BlackBerry Lane? There is an entry
Something showing one of the device names in a interesting way? Let's see it.

Might be fun, might be an abject waste of time, who knows?

A BlackBerry themed week could be a great way to kick it off! After that, we can set a topic biweekly and go for it. eg. Weekly Photo Contest: Animals - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

Seems like on Android Central they run it with the help of the editors, as they post the contest and the winners on the blog. Personally I don't care about prizes that much, it just may be fun to score a sticker or something.

Oi Kevin, Adam, Simon, James, DJ, anyone! What do you think? Can we run a pilot for like a month at least?
