Sure is! Had to buy another when my screen broke, still using it as my main. Replacement was cheaper than a new screen! lol

So I (finally) got a white Bold 9900... Used but in very good conditions.

Was so fun to open the package - like it's 2011 again (has it been 8y already?).

Somehow I'd still like to put my Sim in it at some point... But will never see that super bright led go green for a WhatsApp again.

BTW - you guys remember the desk stand. Ahhh.. The honorary Carjackd BlackBerry / CrackBerry Collectors Corner-20190114_192645.jpegThe honorary Carjackd BlackBerry / CrackBerry Collectors Corner-20190114_192808.jpeg

To this day the 9900 looks so much better than the same ole, same ole slabs. I use a S9 as my daily but my Cobalt Classic and White Passport are so much better looking. Slabs, although I use one, are boring. Cobalt Classic is my favorite mobile device I have used so far. I am thinking about a Key 2LE but on the fence due to vague OS and software update schedules.

The pkb Flagships had a special look to them no slab can accomplish.

For me the best looking and usable phone was the Classic. I now have the Key2 as my daily driver with a S9 for pics and couch-surfing ;-)

The Key2 is great - but dor me, id love a Classic size device. Ahh - no chance.

I am also collector of BB (at least collector-wannabe), if You will be interested i may post pictures of my most interesting Berries here.

Starting with few pieces, that should in theory never leave BB hands - evaluation units.

First one is brand new BB 7290. I've managed to get full set including box sticker with this one. Totaly unused, mint unit. Fun fact - it was bought from polish Orane department when they were cleaning their warehouses. Maybe they were intended for testing or some pre-release units for press/media?
I have also second one, also new, but it was stored in bit worse condition.

BB Pearl 8110 - i've managed to buy lot of different phones by accident and inside package i was happy to find like 10 blue BB Pearls. All of them brand new, some of them still with foil on LCD, unfortunately most of them didn't had battery cover anymore, on others "evaluation unit" stickers was removed (only parts of sticker and some glue residue was left) I've managed to "transplate" one of stickers from damaged Dev Alpha A.
Date under battery is suggesting few months before official Pearl release.
Device itself has uncommon version of 4.3 OS and software, that was designed to send device logs to RIM.

BB Curve 9320 - this was also bought by accident - i've bought lot of phones from some UK company, it was part of that lot. This one is unfortunately used, but in rather good condition.

And last piece for today: BB Bold 9720. Brand new, with all foils, unfortunately this one is software-damaged - it's stuck in "CAL mode", i cannot install OS there and boot the device.

    Very nice devices.

Especially the 7920 - looks so fresh.

I myself don't have any nos (new old stock) blackberry devices. The one I have in my mobile collection is a nos Palm Pixi plus... Ever since I saw that back in London 2010 I wanted to have a unit. And only 8y later I bought one

Well - i think they did quite good with Q10 and Classic.

Btw: how is that sweet Classic working out dor you in 2019? Loved the device, but too many work arounds for me now.

    Yes, yes they did.

The Classic is a great phone. The only real workarounds so far have been installation of the BEOL browser (offered free in these forums) and the Kiwi browser (free in apk repositories) to deal with script-heavy websites. And a gradual move away from BBM, for well-known reasons. Otherwise, with full understanding that the BB10 OS is gradually losing more & more support from app providers, I still love the device and it serves me well.

Another few interesting pieces from my collection (at least IMO).

I very much like not-black BBs. Unfortunately there were many released, but it's getting harder and harder to find anything second hand in good condition. However, for Curve series i've managed to find:
    9300 - Ruby Red
    9300 - blue, don't know it's official name
9220 - turquoise (?), don't know official name also. That also happens to be Evaluation Unit, unfortunately used and damaged (can't read SIM)
9320 - very, very red color, also don't know how it's officially named
8520 - Liquid Blue, from Vodafone Irleand, as far as i know it's only official color of this phone having white-colored start-call and end-call buttons (sorry, forgot the name)
