I'd avoid the temptation of consumerism and wait with your current phone, whatever it is. Everything you see here is the end of a generation. Next wave of releases, be it apple, android or BlackBerry, will be the beginning of their next generation.

Hold out for another 6 months and see what's out then.

Choose the one that fits ur needs. I don't know about the S4 but my friends with S3 informed me that they do not have auto correct on their phones. They might be able to get it thru Swift key. Little things like that might be a consideration. I have the Z10 and it has exceeded my expectations with all of the negativity out there about BB10.

I have no idea why the new CEO is part of your purchasing decision but to answer your question, both are extremely capable devices that will serve you well. Your decision really should be based on which of the two more serve your needs, have the apps you wish to use, make your daily life a little easier, etc...

Asking this type of question here is usually going to get you an extremely biased set of opinions toward the Z30. You'd get equally biased opinions toward the S4 were you to pose this question at Android Central, I think. That is the nature of forums such as these.

Yeah, ceo shouldn't be part of your decision. Make your decision based off what you want personally. Both devices are capable like the above user said.

Is screen resolution important?
Is it for work? Play? Both?

I'm going to assume that the OP mentions the new CEO because s/he hopes that the latest executive will offer a previously missing sense of stability to the company. I can understand the sentiment.

Anyway, everyone is right - it depends on what you're looking for. I just checked out the new Z30 in person the other day and I think it's a beautiful phone that has everything I need and more. I also looked at the S4 and just wasn't impressed. After being on BB10 for a while (white Z10) the Android OS doesn't feel smooth.

I'd go with the Z30. I'm holding out for the white Z30 before I upgrade!
