What does this icon mean (Please refer to the attached image below and the icon on the left of the clock, over the "W" of Wednesday)

I am annoyed at what this icon means and is there anyway to view / remove it?

I believe it refers to an application update. (In Blackberry App World.)

In the OP's defense, it would be pretty tough to search for something you don't know what to ask for. I agree, this has been posted many times. Maybe we need an icon list to reference?

An icon list is a great idea!!

I've thought about trying one, but I'm not good at that kind of stuff. I wouldn't know how to get the icon and then, import it to a list, but identifying them is easy enough.

Thanks for sorting it out.
It sucks that I cannot get rid of it; Without carrying out an upgrade. I like my apps in the current version they're in.

Is there a way to disable this notification? It is sucking up too much real estate on my screen space and is annoying.

If you search a "circle with an arrow" you'll probably find it
