That's because in most cases (majority) you buy your phone from your carrier so you go through them

But yes BlackBerry needs a dedicated number to call for people that bought their phone from BlackBerry themselves

And OP did contact them via Twitter like I mentioned and his problem is sorted out.

Just an FYI but Shop BlackBerry is actually run by a 3rd party company called Digital River. BlackBerry returns, warranty claims and repairs are handled by local 3rd party companies in your region.

Do you really think a bashing on Twitter is the right way to deal with a company? Is it right to embarrass a seller with adverse publicity and humiliation rather than use the tools provided by the law? ISTM this is more a case of inflicting damage for revenge.

You do what you have to do. Fast resolution through shaming seems to be one of the only successful ways to get things done these days.

Not sure what her or your post have to do with the thread but it does suck that BlackBerry didn't release the Z30 model that works on LTE for the states. Wasn't it STA100-1 or -2? I wonder why they didn't you would think it would make them some money. Even if they did a "custom" order of it every time a customer orders it
