I have had my blackberry curve since Christmas 2008 - and I have yet to figure out how to send a picture via text. I can send pics to other blackberry users through Blackberry Messanger, but not other people... I don't understand - I can receive picture texts, and I can forward them as well, but I can't take a snap from my phone and send it to someone via text messaging. Please help!!!

I got to the picture>hit the BB button> send as MMS> then pick who you want to send it to.

Text messaging takes two forms. Your carrier does support SMS Text, but does not support MMS which does allow media transfer.

Yup...Sprint doesn't support MMS.

Sprint does support MMS if your phone has OS 4.5 or newers.
