    Hi for some strange reason my blackberry 8900 keeps losing the wifi conection i have set up with my router, the only way to get it back on it to restart my router then the 8900 is fine for a while, are there any settings on the phone i need to change so wifi is on all the time while at home, im using the latest firmware etc...


    ps: my iphone never had this problem so a little lost

    That is almost always your router and almost never the phone or the OS or the carrier.

    Go into your router configuration and see if you can find the Beacon Interval setting. Change it to 50. Also see if you can enable WMM aka Wireless Multimedia support in your router.

    im having the same problem...and i dont think its a router issue...i had 2 different brands of routers running at my old house (one for laptop, one for gaming) and my 8900 kept dropping on both routers. i moved to a new place with att uverser router and still the same thing! i got a refurb phone from tmo and still drops!

    def sucks...should have gotten android or nexus
