I got a refurb bb curve 8900 and in the "about" section in the phone settings just after it shows the o.s. version etc, it shows the phone refurb date.
Is there anyway that this can be removed???

I dont think you can change things in the about screen,
Im interested in seeing how this plays out.
I have never seen a refurb date in the about screen but only read about them.

You can 100% try it, but i am doubtful.
Go for it though and report back in!

You can't change that screen. And why would you want to?

I agree, why would you need to try to remove the fact that its a "refurb?" The sticker on the back, a lot of the time, shows its a refurb.
