I have a blackberry 8520 curve with W-FI on it but no internet service provider, BUT, I do have wirless internet at home. I tried to connect everysingle way I can think of through by blackberry and it wont let me go to the internet unless I upgrade (buy it).

Isnt there a way that I can still get on?

so you have WiFi in your home but not the data plan? If you go to manage connections I know you can connect to WiFi there, but if you are not in the range of a hotspot or connection and sans data plan, you will not be able to get on the Internet.

but i have perfect wirless connection with my wireless laptops and i have wi-fi on my phone and i did change it to that and try to connect but still no)'.

Does the phone not connect to WiFi at all or you just can't use WiFi to get on the Internet?

Under browser options make sure your default browser is hotspot, not your providers browser.
