You would be surprised what people just ignore, especially when it's RIGHT in front of them. It's really no big deal, we ALL do it once and a while we are human. I'm an IT guy, you would be SHOCKED what I find on folks hard drives, I ignore it and/or quickly forget it, and I NEVER/EVER hold it against the person.

And a helpful member here helped me out by giving me their PIN. Tested and can say for sure now that if you delete your contacts and re-invite them, then they will no longer be able to see you previous status updates.

Just for future reference if anyone has the same question, whatever be their reason for asking it.

Tonis, well I don't think so. I only have 10 or so contacts, and it was around 3-4AM when this happened, so fairly sure no one was sitting and looking at their BBM updates. I know one of them wasn't asleep and I have a sneaky feeling they might've seen something, but maybe that's just me being paranoid because they haven't said anything. I don't think anyone would've said anything even if they had seen the status, it would be quite an awkward conversation :P

And bigdaddyII, well call me weird but I find it a lot easier to divulge my secrets and problems to strangers I'm never going to meet, rather than the people I will see everyday. Strangers can judge all they want, I wouldn't care.

Thankfully I can now look back on this incident and laugh
