I am seriously going crazy over this, I can't stand the thing voicing out every e-mail I get. It's not a simple notification, it's full out reading who sent me an email. How do I turn this off?

Sounds like you have a 3rd party voice app announcing every email. Open the app and press menu and check your options or settings.
