I have a "gfm" Bluetooth dongle purchased from Meijer. It's a Bluetooth V2.0+EDR model. When I insert it, I can pair with my phone under Vista. But... I get the following.. in the "Installing Device driver software" I get:
Standard Modem over Bluetooth Link #2 -- Ready to Use
Bluetooth Peripheral Device -- Failed
Bluetooth Peripheral Device -- Failed
Presumably I need some type of driver for the dongle. Help greatly appreciated.
I don't think you need any driver for the dongle (at least I didn't need it with XP) if you can pair your phone, you should be able to use the desktop manager software to to the synchronization.

Yeah, I had it working fine with the prior version of DM on my primary computer. I also got the dongle working fine on a second computer plug-and-play. Now, on my primary computer, there seems to be a driver issue. Called support; hope to get this fixed soon.
