Nothing. Hope you have a back up copy on your system.

There isnt a way around it. Wipe and reload from backup.
You MAY have one out, but only if you are BES, which means your work gave you the BB. In that case your BB Admin can unlock it. Otherwise you are gonna have to let it wipe and then load your latest backup. IF you have not been backing up you MAY still have a backup on your PC if you have updated your BB OS since you got it, but it may be from a while ago.
Wow that sucks majorly. This is why I always recommend to people to just do a backup on DM at least once a week. Hopefully you have a recent backup.
AWWWWW!!!!! I had NO BACK UP BECAUSE I SUCK! IT WAS JUST WIPED!
Thanks,
Megablackberry
If you ever did an OS update in DM, that does an backup automatically, and you can use it, it will not be recent, BUT it will get most of your contacts back. :)
Wipe Wipe Wipe Wipe!
Couldn't he or she still connect to the DM and do the backup even if the phone is locked? I mean once you connect to the DM all the functions are done from DM.
Good question? Someone wanna try for future reference?

Oh bummer! That's why I always back up my file every 2wks or so... I've wiped out my bb before and that wasn't a fun experience lol

I don't use a PW on my phone, but if you've got one, don't you need to enter it before you can connect to DM?
Unfortunately this wouldn't work, you DO need to enter the password in DM once you connect.
moral of the story is two-fold: 1. IF you add a password, make sure it's something simple that you'll never forget, and 2. do frequent backups.
LDubs, Thank you for sharing this with us.
no problem, glad to be of service.
why, oh why, oh why do people not make regular backups!!!!
Those of us in IT have wondered that for a LONG time. ;) My boss seems to think I can work magic, and sometimes I can, but often enough he has lost everything. (This is his home PCs not our office PC, which we DO backup)
Never fails to amaze me! Reminds me I must get that new backup system sorted on a Windows 2008 box I built the other day!
... and why don't they backup their backups (somewhere off-site)?
Cause people are generally lazy when it comes to backups! I back up twice a day and have a batch file that copies the backups to an external USB drive every 24 hours, these then get written to CD once a week..
