I have the 8310 and use the messenger very frequently but recently i have added new people and either: 1 i stay in pending when the person has told me that they have never received the request at all, 2. they add me and i never get the pending request 3.or it shows in either theirs or my list that i have been added but i never receive their messages. i have add them through pins, emails and nothing.
!!! lastly is there a place where i can update my blackberry?

try a battery pull see if that helps with the messenger. by update you mean get the new OS? if so you can do that at home

i am having the same problem. since the 4.5 os upgrade new contacts stay in pending until i delete them. can't do the normal "use once" like os 4.3. wtf?
