Hi I just charged my phone last night and this morning I woke up to an almost dead batt and it will most likely not survive the day which is so not good! The only thing I can figure out is I DLed vlingo and jive talk.could jive talk have drained my batt? This is a huge problem!

Could be the battery is going bad, BUT before you conclude that, try this...

Pull the battery and blow on the contacts, being careful not to wet them. Then put the battery back in and then do another full charge. If that don't work then replace the battery, it MAY well be covered call Tmo for assistance.

if you were running vlingo and jive talk all night, they could have been the culprit. be sure to properly close out of the programs if you're not using em (menu> exit/close), so you can save up on memory and battery! i know when i run bb alerts in the background all day, my batter dies in half the time than when i don't run it...
