    I am trying to run a Third party application - mobile trading platform from FX Solutions - on my 8830 from Alltel, but get a socket error repeatedly. I have worked with FX Solutions and Alltel extensively to resolve the issue - even having them on the phone together. FX Solution tells me that Verizon, ATT, Singular, etc. all have published APN info that allows their BB devices to run the software. Alltel, however, advises they have no APN input info and that it should run just fine without it. Alltel has taken it all the way to their in-house RIM person who now advises I need to go to the BB developers website and get their support at a substantial cost. Has anybody experienced this type of a problem with an Alltel device and have you been able to get around it?
