    Hello blaze,

I would like you to start a poll on how many Crackberry users have jumped from bb10 to Android.

This would give little summary how many have been acceptance on BlackBerry going Android.

I jumped ship to android since late 2012, I'm such a bas**** I know. Couldn't resist. However I continued to use my bold until it passed away. I'll jump back to BlackBerry soon.

Jumped to android. Now using a Galaxy J7(2016). I miss the functionality of the hub and the BlackBerry keyboard. Hub on Android still lacks some things but it does the job. SwiftKey sort of replaced the keyboard.

Getting the Dtek50 soon or possibly holding out for more device announcements.

    My father did.
He jumped from the Z10 to the DTek50.

He likes it so far - but he is not a "professional" or "passion" user.
He is ok with Android/Google and appreciates the security aspect as an "average user".

I personally would never switch to Android.
OS10 until it's unusable - then I'm jumping off the BlackBerry train, after 11years(!).

I have never used and will never use any Google services - including their website.

And I rather use a feature phone over a Android device.

I've been on BlackBerry for almost two years. Never thought of switching. Tried the Priv and I hated it with a passion. Maybe because of android? I don't know but I just didn't like it. But I am deciding on giving android another chance with the Mercury, if it ever releases that is.

    Certainly not me!
    Android is a No-Go!
iOS not my cup of tea!
M$-Windows is crap and even worse than Android!

On the other hand :-P BlackBerry OS10 is all I can wish for, no point to waste a thought on changing at all.

If I do go Android it will not be BlackBerry brand. Only because the competition is ahead of the game. OS 10 has minimal support. Shame on BlackBerry for turning on devout fans.

Nope, not interested in Android. Or Blandroid.

For the record, I was under the belief that Blandroid and the stock Google supported, that is not carrier or Sammy, versions of Android were effectively the same, less the after the fact notification of access by DTEK of use of Blandroid. Google sends security patches, updates, etc. first to their own line of phones, no?

I have a pile of phones. But my daily driver has recently become the lg g5 with BlackBerry apps on it. I just need more social media apps to work natively for my business adverts and communication to my area.

For me, it was more a slide than a jump. I've had a OnePlus One since January 2015. At first I used it only occasionally. Since early 2016 I have been using it exclusively. Not long ago, I sold my Passport, which I didn't originally intend to do. But it was sitting unused on my desk, and I can't get too sentimental about a phone. I thought it best to sell it to someone who would actually use it. I do still have a Q10, with bad double-typing issues, which I haven't turned on in over a year.

no it's not actually! I jumped last August (2015) and my Android is decidedly different from a bb android.

That's the thing, in today's business world... apps are part of being productive. Which is why most of the business world has moved away from BlackBerry and the security focus. Now maybe with time, BlackBerry can win some of those customer back to their more "secure" version of Android. But then other vendors are starting to talk about Android Security too, and so far Chen hasn't committed to hardware.. So it might be a very tough battle to keep what customers they have, much less win back those they have lost.

Chen needs to "really" commit to hardware, if they are to be seen as a long term solution provider.
