Has it been confirmed if the PlayBook has a GPS? Maybe I should have asked when the 3G version comes out will it have a GPS?
Having a iPad 3G with a GPS I just thought the when the 3G version of the PlayBook comes out it will also have one.

No mention as of yet. The current thought is that one would use their BB for GPS. Since the WiFi only version won't come out till supposedly Q1 2011, we may not hear anything on 3G/4G PB specs for a while.

No GPS announced for either version of the PlayBook. If I had to take a guess I'd imagine the 3G/4G versions would have it on board while the wifi version might just be capable of mirroring what you'd see on a tethered Blackberry. Just a guess though.
Depends. It would be cool if it had A-GPS built in so you could buy maps for your GPS app and take it on the road/trail without having to worry about wifi or cellular data connection.
It would sure be nice if the Playbook came with a full-fledged turn-by-turn GPS app, even if it had to swipe the location data from your BB Handset's GPS module...
