I got the USA Telmap Nav installed and it worked great when i tested it on my lunch. Didn't go far but had to reroute and all went smooth. Some of the street names were not very clear, but i understood them just fine. As Phill_UK posted a couple post back, select the 9000 Bold as your device. (Thanks again!)
I tried amAze on my way to work but i did not really like it. For the price (free) it worked great to have turn by turn considering that i don't really need the GPS 95% of the time. But the map seamed to lag and the graphics seamed dull on the 8900's beautiful screen.
i had GARMIN on my 8320 and when i transferred my apps to my 8900 GARMIN Still works .. and looks even better on the 8900 ... ..
i use amaze as well .. but seems to be off alot ... GARMIN for BB is the best gps
Hey where did you get the AmAze gps from? I would like to try it out. Thanks
Google Maps is the best for me. Lets just say is keeps me in the right direction.
I'm a big fan of Google Maps since my Pearl 8100 days. Now it has the new Latitude feature where you can see your friends on the map like the Loopt app for iphone.
I've never had a prob w/ the Goog...
Can the Garmin read maps in the memory card or does it use maps downloaded OTA only? Thanks!
quick question bout google maps... does any one know how to make the location cursor bigger?
Go to mobile.blackberry. com, then to information-gps from your bb browser. :)
Amaze is free and great does the job good and proper
I tried nav4all and got "No GPS Connection" Is this because I'm with Alltel/Verizon?
