I'm not sure that I didn't do something wrong, but at first, I thought I had bricked mine at one point, but was at least able to rescue it. All my memos, emails, accounts, etc. are gone, though, so I wanted to help avoid this downgrade to the Bold's OS 4.6, after upgrading to OS 5.0, which you may not want to do in the first place.

5.0 IS nice, some cool new stuff, and it's fast. but IE is missing on build .90, Viigo, SlingPlayer, and some other apps are not compatible, so make sure it's worth it to you, as the downgrade (and I've done at least 3 of them that worked just fine) may be quite painful.
