    Till I used my PlayBook.

It was brutal. Truly I never really appreciated the multitasking capabilities of my phone or how capable my browser was but today I picked up my PlayBook after the update and honestly it was so brutal.

It really made me appreciate how much work has been done in BlackBerry 10 to advance it from that initial PlayBook os.

One thing though the speakers on my Z10 still suck.

Yes. Same here. The z10 browser is like a whole different browser from the PlayBook. Wondering if there was perhaps a total rewrite. Lol.

Before and after the update my PlayBook was comparatively brutal to what BlackBerry 10 has offered.

Totally agree, I've found my playbook to be comparatively unresponsive to, it never want to pull down the bar on the top, or open the settings, it's soooo slow.

Don't get me wrong while I do agree there is a lot lackingon the PlayBook there are still things I miss. Like being able to transition between apps like in the PlayBook simply by siding from the bezel and the peek function on it.

It is. The PB was supposed to get the BB10 browser. Thus they stopped working on the PB version. And we never got the BB10 one. Suxs.

    Sigh...

I sold my PlayBook literally the day I bought my Z10 at launch so I wouldn't have a clue. It's been so long! Lol

Still use my PlayBook daily, and there are just some things that I prefer to use it for rather than my Z10. The latest 'surprise' update has made it just that little bit smoother.

You can install the air browser on your z10 by side loading the bar file and it runs better than the bb10 browser....i doubt that the bb10 browser would be any faster than the air browser on the pbs hardware

Honestly there would be no point as I hardly use the damn thing, and it's not the pace of the browser so much as the usability.

For instance with the Z10 browser you can run multiple tabs. I like to listen to music on YouTube while looking at other sites. With the PlayBook you can run the multiple tabs but only one runs at a time.

This extends into the OS as well as soon as you turn the screen off it shuts the whole thing down.

The keyboard experience is like night and day. This shouldn't be the case given the PlayBook's size advantage but it is.

All of these together make me appreciate my Z10 all the more because it simply does all that I ask of it no issues.

I actually have been using my PlayBook more since I downloaded the Origami browser. It's faster than the stock and allows for multiple tabs.

I still use my Z10 the most - but when I want the extra screen real estate when doing research I like to use my pb.

I believe the microphone still runs even if you turn off screen. Handy for recording conference calls. Found the mic to be good.

If you like to listen to music, get the soundcloud app and it can run in the background while you browse.

I think the navigation is better than on the BB10 and more intuitive.

Honestly there would be no point as I hardly use the damn thing, and it's not the pace of the browser so mucu ah as the usability.

It's not even just the browser though it's the opening of the apps for example. Look how slow that is versus how fast the Z10 is.

It's the three minute startup time.

The constant inability to do anything.

All things the Z10 is better at. Can't wait to see what the next BlackBerry is like. If it has good speakers and a decent HD screen it will be something amazing. Especially if they can add back shortcuts and work on app transitions to get rid of the in and out so you can just slide between or multi screen things.

Agreed, I had a PB briefly and just hated everything about it minus the build quality. A PB with BB10(as was promised > ) would have been interesting but alas it is what it is. Gotta give Blackberry credit, the BB10 OS as a whole is smooth as silk, even running non-native Android apps it still is snappy.
