Dear berries, today gsmarena has revealed their latest battery test results. And in the list, almost all the smart phones are available starting from nokia lumia 1520. There is BlackBerry Q10, Q5 and even Z10 in the list. But the irony is that there is no the macho battery one Z30. Did they miss it, or did they intentionally avoided it? Or they dont even know there is a phone like that? It will be a huting read for those who reading it in their Z30, in their 15th hour of continuous usage.
Sadly I was one of them.

I dont think he got all other phones from AT & T. I really don't think so. Either its a part of media conspiracy, or unintentionally he forgot about the phone.

Would be nice if someone who owns a Z30 to run a similar test.

I find it interesting that Q5 is on 10th and 12th position when sorted by Web Browsing and Video Playback but loses if sorted by Talk Time.
Looks like BB folks are concentrating on content and consumers than on phone calls.

Yes... they intentionally did not post the Z30 results.

Not sure why the Z30 is not there but it was rated previously at 52 Hr . I guess compared to the Z10 the Z30 is better.

Just looked at their BB Z30 Review and found its battery test, nothing amazing, its far behind the likes of Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S4, LG G2, Galaxy Note 3, iPhone5S, Xperia Z1 etc... Maybe they just mistakenly forgot to add the Z30 in that table, I'm sure there are a few other phones missing in that list.

Far beyond the likes of a iPhone 5s? Really... we're talking about battery life right.?...

Yeah, I didn't get that either.
Looked up Samsung Galaxy S4 (S600) and it is behind Z30 (as expected) expect video playback.

I wonder how they assign those 52Hrs.
On the global battery comparison page RAZR has the following values:
    Motorola RAZR i XT890 64h 20:07h 7:06h 8:11h 64h
every value is lower than Z30 (23:19, 7:34, 10:35) and the total for RAZR is 64h which is higher than 52 that Z30 scored.

Looks like they changed the hour calibration.
In the global page Z30 should be around 72h - 76h.

The 52h the Z30 got is an Endurance Score, so they multiple features for an hour each, leaving it in Stand By between each, they keep the phone going until it dies.

The Web, Video and Call results are done separately, so they run a script for Web until the phone dies, run a lengthy video until it dies and do a Call until it dies.
