Go into your display settings and turn off LED coverage indicator.

Battery pull works great for me. Or I would press every thing on my phone ie emails, twitter, facebook, sms, whatsapp, bbm etc

As stated in the third reply, the green flashing light is the coverage indicator. You can shut it off.
