Is there a way to track your blackberry using GPS that does not use network data? Essentially, I want to give my kids my old GPS (for photos, games etc) when they go to on vacation in Europe (without a sim) and be able to track them from Canada.
Yeah, cook's right. They would be capable of receiving GPS signal while they are in europe, but the only way you would be able to access that information would be if they had network access to upload that info to some site where you can view it.
