First time BB user here, coming from a Razor. So far I am loving the Storm despite some bugs in the current firmware.

I am trying to figure out how to use the GPS on this thing, trying to avoid paying for Verizons VZNav. I have BB Maps installed, how do I get to to pinpoint my location using GPS? I also installed the trial version of Garmin, when I launch the app it says something about how GPS is disabled?

Any help much appreciated!

You need to enable GPS. Under Options...Advanced Options...GPS.
GPS Services is defaulted to E911 Only. Change it to Location On and BB Maps will work.

where do i get the free trial for garmin gps for my bb curve?

GPS not working. Turned on, as above, but not able to locate satellites( outsdie).No GPs coordinates, Software Version 4.7.0.75. BB Maps , Garmin (purchased) and Nav4all all having the same issue. I have removed VZ navigator.
Any suggestions Please Help
