I am on a trip to Europe (Amsterdam and Paris) and India. I have a BlackBerry Tour on Verizon. But for some reason the GPS is working in any of the locations I have been to since leaving the US. Is there a way I can fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Btw the phone is currently running on Vodaphone network (EDGE).
I'm trying to figure out why the GPS would not work???? Have you checked your settings, under OPTIONS, Advanced, GPS? You don't generally need DATA but some of the mapping apps probably do need data. Have you tried using gpslogger or blackstar (see the gps subforum) which can use the gps without a data connection. They would at least show if it works or not.
