Hello, I tried to search but my search option is not working correctly through mobile site.

I have tried many times to get the gps function to work, through google maps it doesn't recognize gps so I never get an accurate position. I then went into gps settings and refresh gps but it looks for satellites for a while then just resets with nithing.

I have a data plan, I'm doing it in clear skies. My storm gps worked fine.

Is there something I'm not doing correctly to initialize gps, or should this work out of the box????

    Any help would be appreciated.

The GPS should refresh out of the box....

It can take up to 5 minutes the first time.....To the OP maybe try it again but if it doesn't I would request and exchange. Also what OS are you guys running?

First Try a battery pull. Next go outside to a location where you have a clear view of the sky in all directions.

Go to Options > Advanced Options > GPS > BB Button > Refresh GPS

If this does not work change the Location Aiding setting and try again

I have the same problem. Usually this works:

    Go to options>status
Then while viewing that screen type 'test'

    Press menu, then start
Check off the box that says GPS then press run. Follow the directions from there.
