I disabled GPS "Location Aiding" and it has increased my battery life. I searched the threads, and there isnt a lot of discussion on this, and on the threads that discuss this there are some that agree that this will increase battery life, while others say it will have no effect.
What exactly does this GPS "location aiding" setting do? Do most of you have it enabled?
I dont use any GPS apps, so Ill leave this off for now since it has helped my poor battery life. I can finally get thru the day on 1 battery charge!
anything that uses the GPS will use the battery. So yes you will get more battery drain by enabling the GPS aiding. Might not be that much but it will use it.
