Before my BB I had an android phone with Cricket Service. I had voice turn by turn directions. Somehow my navigation is only set for text turn by turn direction. I tried downloading Google Maps to see if there Navigation was different but it wasn't. Is there something I'm overlooking or not setting up right? I need my GPS for work and its becoming frustrating.
Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Which phone do you have? The Curve 8520 has no in-built GPS, so you'd need to manually input your location and destination each time you wanted to go somewhere.

Cricket is a CDMA carrier so most likely the OP has the 8530 which has GPS.

Google Maps on BlackBerry does not have voice turn by turn directions.

You really are going to need to look at a paid application for that functionality. There are a few free apps, but none of them are very good.

You would likely be better served to just get an inexpensive Garmin nuvi for GPS use for your work.
