I own a Pearl and everytime I use the GPS, it says that I am not on a road, even if I am. Better yet, my gps does not give me turn by turn directions, and I have to scroll through to see where to go. It is a pain in the bum.

I have called Verizon twice and they've had me uninstall the program and change some settings around, but nothing has helped. Any suggestions before I take it back to the store?

I don't have a Pearl or use the Verizon software but some questions that might help you or others help you....

So you have subscribed to Verizon's Navigator program?

Under OPtions (the wrench icon), Advanced, GPS, you can set it for 911 or Locate (or whatever). Is it get for more than just 911?

Does it calculate the route appropriately in the first place? Does it need continuing DATA and do you have it?
