Hey guys

I hope this is not a stupid question, and I hope that this thread would become useful for other folks.

Since upgrading to .173 on my 9500, ive had nothing but joy
The only problem I am having is that none of my gps applications detect the GPS device.
Maybe it's not even related to the OS upgrade, but Vodacom SatNav, GPSLogger, Blackstar all give me similiar errors about gps device not being detected, or "not found".

Are there any obvious reasons why everything would rock, and gps woudl stop rocking after a wipe/reinstall of 173? (i did delete vendor, and used bbsak to wipe).

Let me just interupt all the bustling replies here.
I managed to sort this out, seems that LOCATION needs to be on for GPS device to be detected.

As of now, i havent rebooted in 8 days, memory dropped 0.1MB and battery drops by 0.9%/hr when idle. 173 wins

Thought' Id clear that up since the original post problem is my bad and not that of the OS
