GPS area calculation
Is it possible with BB maps to outline an area by driving or walking around it and then have it give you a square foot or acre calculation? If not does anyone know of software for the Curve that will do this? I need this calculaton for business purposes and would rather not have to buy a stand alone unit for this situation.
Thanks.

The problem I see with this is that your accuracy will not be that great.
Here is kind of a work around though.
Walk or drive to the first corner.
Open "maps" software (its on the Tmo BB), find your current location, and then click the menu and select "copy location". It will say "copied to clipboard".
Then switch application to your memo pad. You can paste your first lat/long into here.
Do this for each of the respective points.
You can then google something like " lat long distance calculations"
You can then plug in your lat longs and get the distance between the points and now you can figure the area...
I know its long and prob not an ideal situation.. but it can be done.
Good luck

You can log your area with gpslogger in blackberry, then you export the log to gpsmapedit in PC, and with this program you can measure your area, sorry for bad english.....;)
