Hello all!

I was hoping someone could create this, especially with all of the talent out there!

I think one of the best parts of the Blackberry is GPS and the ability to get free apps that utilize that feature. My problem is that battery life is not tremendous and GPS eats up power that I could use otherwise. This is frustrating because I would prefer to leave GPS on so I could use Poynt or Google Maps whenever I needed.

My "challenge" to developers out there is to develop an app that will toggle on/off GPS based on what application is running. For example, I could enter to this app that when Google Maps or Poynt starts to turn GPS on. Once the application has ended, turn GPS back off.

I don't know if that is possible, but if something like QuickLaunch can be pre-programmed list certain apps, there should be a way to get an app to preform based on apps selected by the user.

If this already exists, please point me in that direction!
