Wonder if that's an android issue? I have the same problem with my Priv. I'll have to follow this discussion.

I had the priv when it came out first and it worked fine in my vehicle (RAM 1500 with uconnect 8.4an) I used the steering controls for voice texts and Bluetooth audio was perfect. Maybe it's an incompatibility of your head unit? What type of unit is it? I also had a pioneer bt4500xt in my f150 and it was fine too I think.

I have the Priv and my car is a 2014 Honda Pilot. The car stereo will every so often give problems with all of our phones - LG, Leap, Samsung and Priv where u will have to pair it again. Usually happens when the phones have not been paired for awhile. My husband's Samsung has the hardest time with it.

Yes there are some known issues with Marshmallow and Bluetooth connections....

For my Moto I was in a soak test that was designed to improve the Bluetooth performance, but my experience was that it ended up being worse. That soak test took place over a month ago, and usually is quickly followed by a general release... but it didn't.

Anyway you can search AndroidCentral... it is a common issue, and only solutions I've really seen is to downgrade (not really an option) or hope of a patch that works.

Does blackberry give 12 month free support for Dtek? This seems like a serious issue.

Both Priv and Dtek50 is working fine in my Honda Odyssey, just need to disconnect and connect again.

Seems like andriod issue not BlackBerry specific
