GoogleMail on Blackberry

Hello All,

I have had a Blackberry for a while now which i use for all sorts.

I recently got myself a Galaxy Tab which needed a GoogleMail email account to allow most things to work. I looked into the Google Mail and decided to create an acocunt.

One of the key thinks i liked was the fact i could syncronise my contacts and calendar on my Blackberry and Tab via GoogleMail.

I went through the prosess and set everything up. EMails worked etc as expected.

I seem to have problems when adding contacts into my Blackberry now. WHen ever I do, they only stay there for a day or so and get deleted automatically.

Is this due to some over ride setting on Google where the Mail account is priority over the devices or similar?

How do you sync between Google and BB? GSync or BIS? This almost sounds like a unilateral one-way refresh.
