For those not familiar with Google Product Ideas, it's here Google Product Ideas

You can post suggestions for Google products and vote on them. Who thinks RIM needs something like this?

After reading the CrackBerry blog today I saw that RIM rolled-out some FB integration so you can post your BBM barcode on FB and people can scan/add you to their BBM. While some might think this is cool, I can't help but wonder how much time it took to develop this.

Considering we're waiting on 2-way GMail sync, increased attachement size, the webkit browser and a better FB app --- just to name only a few. Maybe RIM needs more guidance from its customers as to what should be a priority in their dev/release cycles.

I know there's but I'd rather see something more visible than shooting off an email into space.

Personally, I think it will make very little difference. RIM is woefully inattentive to
it's users concerns, as is historically proven.

Doing this will only result in a lot of stupid (my opinion) functionality. Were RIM
to take the suggestions provided by this type of feedback we will wind up with
more Facebook apps. Twitter clients, Weather apps, and all manners of crap that
a large number of users have no interest in.

I'd rather RIM simply work on reworking the OS from the ground, plug the holes
in the email client and creating a truly new and innovative device.
