i've never had a smartphone but i want a Blackberry. Androids are cool but i think iphone people are sheeple prescription-pill zombie slaves.

The holdback almost seemed like negligence.........by the carriers. Face it they make their money on big data, something a BB is less likely to need. The updates came through in many parts of the world ahead of the US so blaming BB seems unfair.

I am fighting corporate on our device policy, IT are all over iPhones but my Regional Manager is on my side.

We are finally equipping all staff with smartphones, 42 in my area! We are eligible for free Z-30's (Gov't VOR contract) and IT still blocking as they say we can have the old iPhone 4S for free as well. :facepalm:

The Z-30's are already in hand at corporate office but IT saw them and now blocking....so close. Not over yet but may find out soon....wish me luck.

Now we keep a toe hold in the org for another two years until the next contract term....by then hopefully BB may be back and strong enough to move fully across the org again.

I converted my cousins hubby...gave him my Z10. Other than missing some Android apps, he's loving it! I downloaded the Amazon store for him and will be setting up Snap soon as well, so his experience should be even better.

I'm also considering converting myself back to BB. Currently rocking a Lumia Icon that I actually really like and am loving more with each passing day. However, I can't shake the itch to pick up a Z30 and give it a try. I just can't seem to get BB out of my blood...

Well as these are strictly work devices we are not really opening up full app loading....these are enterprise enabled devices with policies installed which limit certain actions. Snap can not be used as the developer mode can not be enabled.

BB World has every app we need.

If we go back to all BB it would mean a thousand devices.
