So I was wondering if I can get the native hotspot working if I install a leaked OS or use Sachesi and get another carrier that doesn't block it. I never get any luck with the apps in the store for that purpose. Thanks for any advice.

I use hotspot and tethering on my AT&T Network. It should work as long as you pay for the services. I'm running 10.2.1.1925 on a Z10 Stl-003

That's the problem it's kind of ridiculous to pay for data we already pay for. It's like 30 bucks for 5 gigs on sprint. I want to watch netflix I assume I'll go through 10-15 gigs maybe a month.

That's true. But usually stock software doesn't disable tethering, it's carriers who do it on their software. So I'm just wondering what my options are since there is no root for blackberries.

I read somewhere that if you delete the PlayBook bridge from your phone then power it off, pull the SIM card power it back up and reload the Bridge app using Wi-Fi. Power the phone off and reapply the SIM card and power the phone back up... you should be be able share to you PlayBook from the phone.... FYI you may get another update through BB WORLD once you power the phone back up, don't do it, it will apply the carriers blocking ability.
