i downloaded all the right files and software, but am getting an error message when trying to run crackutil. password incorrect or phone not connected. please restart program. can anyone help with this
Impossible. There's a hardware limitation, not a software limitation. The storm uses CDMA radios, which means (in the USA) you can only use it with Verizon or Sprint, the two networks who use CDMA.
AT&T and TMobile use a competing technology called GSM. Again, this is a hardware limitation, there is no way around it (unless you can find someone who has a replacement chip, or something. Even this would require a degree in electronics).
why the **** are you trying to crack a CDMA phone for use on a GSM network? just buy an unlocker code then pop in a SIM.
and yes, it is compatible, but voice only because the Storm cannot connect to AT&T's 3G network.
