I just got my phone today and i am trying to get a certain ringtone. My cousin said she has them emailed, then saved to her phone. And when i tried to do this it says it was sent to my phone, but no email came up. Does it take a while for it to get to the phone, or did i do something wrong?
are you getting any e-mail on your phone? Can you get to the e-mail from some other source? All you need to do is copy the mp3 file into the "ringtones" directory on your phone and it should then be findable when you set tones.
Is your cousin sending you the ringtones or are you sending them to yourself?
I've never been able to send an email to myself from the same account that is setup on my BB. It shows up in the inbox on my computer but is not pushed to the phone. (Maybe I'm doing something wrong)
If this is the case try sending them from a different email account or have someone else send them to you.
