My phone was stolen from me when I was coming back from my recent trip to Europe.

I backed up my contacts before I left, and I was wondering if there was anyway to get the backed up contacts into Window's Contacts?

Not that I know of. I believe that the backup file is only readable by the BlackBerry.

it would have been possible to sync desktop manager with outlook, or windows native contact from the device, however with out the device you cannot "sync"

if you do a google search, software does exist to read the information in the blackberry back-up file, and you should be able to "decrypt" your address book...

Did you sync when you did your backup? Hopefully you sync'd -- to outlook.

    Try Amber Converter from ABC

You can extract anything from a backup.
