Geo Tag info
I've been playing around with the geo tag feature for the camera and I seem to be missing something.
I am able to bring up the map where the pic was taken on the BB, but I can't figure out how to do it once the file is on my PC.
I saw in another post that XP can not read the exif gps data natively, a third party ap is needed for that. So I located & installed FastStone Image Viewer. That will show me the gps data, but only if I am looking at the file while it is still on the BB. It seems as soon as I copy the file from the BB to my PC the gps data is lost. The gps data also does not go with the file when I post it to a blog (I do that via email from BB to my blog when I take the picture). How do I get the gps data to stay with the file no matter what?
Using a Tour 9630 OS 5.0.0.591 on VZW
Win XP Pro
TIA

Good Day
Just wondering if you got your issue resolved. I have a blackberry curve 8530 and am also trying to figure out how to transfer my pics from the phone to the pc with the coordinates. I am sure there is an app out there that would assist with this. Have you found anything? Would appreciate any help.

Irfanview with its plugins can show where the picture was taken using GoogleEarth (and another map viewer, I think). You view the pic, then view the exif info and click on the gps info.
