Hey crackberry nation. I just bought the z10 for Verizon. Well I always liked blackberry ever since I owned the pearl on tmobile back then when I worked for the company. I'm currently working for Verizon and must say the z10 isn't a bad phone. I owned an iPhone ever since the 3G came out but honestly it become so saturated. I'm not knocking the iPhone. I own both devices. But just saying people should really try it before talking trash or just giving up on it. I never considered owning one until I decided to give it a try. I'm not saying its the best phone out but it's cool and well it's different. Like it may not have apps but one thing is for sure texting on this thing is great compared to any android phone. I think bb will make a comeback but will take time to do so. Thank you for reading guys and gals.

That was a nice read. Refreshing to see positive comments without the bashing of one or the other phone. One has been out for years and established. The other is new -has a solid base, not without its issues, and has room to grow.

Yea I hear that. But I like the fact that people ask me o what phone is that. No Netflix but who cares I have an iPad and ps3 for that lol.

Technically your thread title should be "Giving the BB Z10 a chance". The way you worded it I was expecting to see "...but, it is not for me..."

That means that BBRY needs more aggressive marketing out there so people know the device better and its new, fresh and different OS BB10.

I agree with that but it must market to a degree on how it can simplify a consumers life. That's why the Xoom tablet was a flop. Talking specs to a customer is like a doctor telling you what you have but in medical terms. Apple is successful because of how they market the product and reliability.

I agree with tinioesjunior on that one. If the CEO of Netflix is still ignorant of the device, then something is wrong. A few people I know still think of BB10 as a business phone.

    Nothing wrong with the title.

Glad you're happy with the Z10 OP!

At the moment Netflix's CEO views hasn't translated to a significant opportunity loss, hence his current ability to get away with such ignorance. As adoption and overall presence of BB increases he, as well as his company, will not have to luxury to continue so.
