is this the same as what we have BlackBerry App World - Telmap Navigator - North America Edition ? I can live with a yearly fee of $49... thats what you'd pay for map updates per year on any portable nav device.

Here's some feedback for the beta test. IT DOESN't F-ing WORK!!!!!!!! Still can't enter text, no response from support , no update ever since downlaoding, and I cand even find a section about this on there so called "support forums". I mean , is the latest version still 5.11.28???

Ok, I take it back, it does work now, and very well. It seems that you have to turn off the predictive text, and then you can type in the text fields. The support is still very frustrating. I had to dig in the forums to find the answer to this. But yea, its a sweet app once you get past the typing part.

where did you download it from? it doesn't give you the choice of choosing either the us or canada in the menu system.

I downloaded from the email that they sent me after I registered that included the activation key. And I remember a multitude of either map regions or languages to choose from. Try again Voltaire.

u can just click a random country n put ur info in. i love this program. been using it for months then upgraded and lost the activation so i went back and re registered and chose uk since canada wasnt there. works flawlessly

I downloaded and it seems like a decent program. What I noticed is that when running the program, it switches my connection from 3G to EDGE so it seems a little slower. Anyone else notice this as well?
