...there must be SOMEONE who can help me out here...can't open documents from my Bold 9650. Small files, less than 4 or 5KB. Nor can I open entries on Wikipedia. I have a media card *GB and am running OS 5.0.0.975.

Did you recently upgrade your OS? If so, might not have downloaded right.

If not, I have no clue, sorry.

No, no recent OS upgrade. Good effort, though.

If there hasn't been a solution yet, I guess try resending your service books, and register the host routing table options/advanced/host routing table, click menu and register now.

I think there is a service book that tells the device what the maximum allowed file size you can download is.

Not sure either of those will help, but they're the easiest things to try that might help.

Thanks, Sandman. How do I resend the service books? Registering didn't work.

Hoff, to resend your service books, you can do it 2 ways: 1) log into your BIS from your computer and you will see the menu options on the left side, OR 2) from your bb, go to your setup folder>email settings>sign in>then 'menu key' and scroll down to 'service book' and click on that

Are you trying to open them through an email attachment or through Docs-to-Go?

I think in OS5 there is a program called blackberry attachment, or something like that.

I'm scraping the barrel on my memory on this one, but I think it has to be there for you to open attachments in e-mails. I don't know about websites. Might be a shot.

File too large in e-mail? How big is the attachment? I believe BIS puts a 2.9 meg limit on attachment sizes.

The Mayor is dead on. I googled for more info because I knew there was a limit but didnt know size, and I came up with exactly he posted. Files/attachment are limited to 2.9mb for the bb.
