I am a pretty normal poster on T-Mobile's Forums, they actually like me over there , read this post .....
I haven't had any of the issues in the "Lemon" article above. Could be that was an early GSM model (8220) and I have a CDMA model (8230). Mine has been stable and I just installed the OS 5 beta which is running pretty well.
I have an 8130 Pearl and an 8330 Curve in addition to the 8230 Flip. If the 8130 Pearl had as much memory as either of the other two, I'd still be using that. The Curve just feels too big to carry in my pocket. The Flip is a nice compromise between size and function.
Yea. I am rocking the 8130. It is what I need. Can do a ton, and isn't a flip phone. I imagine that the flip is pretty sweet, I know that it has more capabilities, but the 8130 is just what I like for now. I plan on getting the Tour when it comes to USCC.
you can always step out of the box and go for a curve if you dont like it you have a certain amount of days to return or exchange I liked flip phones too as i was an avoid sidekick user but i love my bb(when its working right)
