When connected to my headset (Discovery 975), the Storm LED flashes blue as usual. I just recently noticed that when I am actually on a call using the headed, the upper part of the LED window flickers dim red, while continuing to also flash blue.

Does everyone's do this? and what does it mean?

Update: One thread suggests this is an infrared face detection light?

    Thanks!

Though I cannot say with 100% certainty, I think it is indeed the face detection technology. It flashes like such on mine as well, and my S2 properly turns off the screen when I am on a call and the phone is up against my face.

Yeah, I thought it was related to bluetooth, it would make sense that when on a headset is when I would be looking at the phone while on a call.

Maybe in a software update they will realized face detection isn't exactly required when a headset is being used...

    Thanks

It is not actually related to BT. It does it whether you are using BT or not. It is for the facial detection, dont worry nothing is wrong
